Dana’s presence in Japan dates back to 1972, providing Spicer® drivetrain technologies, Victor Reinz® sealing solutions, and Long® thermal-management products.
Operations include:
Dana Japan, Ltd. – Headquartered in Tokyo, Dana Japan Ltd. handles new business development, sales support, customer support, program management, technology development, and affiliate support.
Toyohashi Engineering Center/Service and Assembly Center – As a key function department, this technology center is located in Toyohashi and supports the light-vehicle market in the region.
Najico Spicer Co., Ltd. – A joint venture company between Dana and Nakamura Jico Co., Ltd., that supports customers by assembling industrial propshafts and universal joints in Japan. Najico Spicer imports and sells Dana products for the light-vehicle, commercial-vehicle, and off-highway markets.
Joint ventures is able to fully utilize Dana’s global engineering and testing resources.
